Our Story
The Origin Story
One Yeehaw is more than a lifestyle brand—it’s a movement rooted in the authentic spirit of the American West and the enduring resilience of Indigenous heritage.
Founded by Jess Oldham, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, One Yeehaw draws inspiration from a life spent immersed in both Indigenous culture and the wide-open landscapes of Wyoming and the American West. Jess grew up on the Navajo Nation before moving to Wyoming, where his family operates the Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary and a working cattle ranch. These experiences shaped his passion for genuine storytelling, western grit, and uplifting his rural and Indigenous communities.
After college, people use to ask Jess what he was up to and the only way he could describe his life was by saying he was just “Yeehaw-ing”.
In that spirit, One Yeehaw was born. A nod to taking challenges and triumphs with grit and gratitude. One at a time.
For Jess, this is just the beginning. With every product you purchase, One Yeehaw donates a bottle of clean water to someone in need through trusted local nonprofits and charities. It’s a simple act with a powerful effect—water is life.
Join us in making a difference that flows beyond the product. Your purchase doesn’t just bring you quality, it brings hope, health, and opportunity.
Make your impact with purpose—One Yeehaw At A Time.
